Canadian singer-songwriter Justin Bieber was so keen to buy this fabulous villa in Lanzarote in the Canary Islands, he paid €800,000 more than the asking price.
The 22-year-old singer-songwriter apparently fell in love with the island while on holidays with new girlfriend, Sofia Ritchie, who is singer Lionel Ritchie’s 17-year-old daughter. The six-bedroom, five-bathroom villa will offer him total privacy, and it has an area of 2000 square metres and offers direct access to the sea.
Lanzarote is a Spanish island, although it’s located approximately 125km off the coast of Africa. In his quest to avoid paparazzi and presumably his legions of devoted fans, Bieber engaged the services of real estate consulting firm, Proto Group Ltd, and specifically asked them for a property that was situated in a quiet area and offers absolute privacy.
Mind you, as the island is only 60km from north to south and 25km from east to west, it probably won’t take too long for the most dedicated Beliebers to smoke the heartthrob out!
